  • An entertainment force in hip pop/dance, Pearl is taking the industry by storm. Haitian-American entertainer, Ebony Fashion Fair model, MBA and entrepreneur, Pearl creates a unique brand blending empowering lyrics with beauty and style.

    Her sound is infectious. In 2009, under her indie label, A Lady Named Pearl, LLC, Pearl released her debut mixtape, “American Dreamin,” to glowing reviews. It features 11 songs with original lyrics sampling tracks from Jay-Z, Drake, T-Pain and many more.

    She’s won acclaim in the industry, touring with and opening for various platinum selling artists including Lil Wayne. Pearl has also appeared in national publications including JET and Ebony Magazines. She toured more than 220 cities with Ebony Fashion Fair as a runway model with proceeds benefiting underprivileged children’s educational goals.

    In January 2010, Pearl created “Empowering Our Youth,” a seminar which focuses on speaking to our youth about the importance of education, self-esteem, and personal accountability. Pearl has spoken to over a 1,000 students throughout the U.S.

    In October 2010, Pearl released her single and music video for “Unstoppable,” which has been named a top ten video by Defend Haiti.

    In February 2011, Pearl released her second single “Jungle Love.”

    Pearl has also performed at the Winter Music Conference 2011 which drew over 100,000 attendees and the Miami Reggae Festival 2011.
    Currently, Pearl is working with DJ/producer Salah Ananse, who produced her current single, Jungle Love. Pearl is also working with producer Jaylien. Jaylien produced and wrote “Beautiful” for Akon, and is working on new music for the Backstreet Boys, Usher, and Ciara.

    Pearl has a Master of Business Administration from Clark Atlanta University and a Bachelor of Science from Florida State University.
    Some of Pearl’s influences include Lauryn Hill, Grace Jones, Josephine Baker and Emeline Michel.
